Nice chill atmosphere as you walk in. I was the only customer despite its high rating.Watermelon Feta Salad tasted as it should but could have been better. Seeds were NOT removed (not sure who would enjoy eating seeds and feta) Watermelon was left at room temperature where it should have been cold.Fried Spring rolls: cant really mess this dish up especially in Vietnam.Khmer style Fish: cooked perfectly and had good flavor. Almost similar to green curry.Not bad, would come back but wouldnt go out of my way. 3.9 stars!

We found this place on Google and decided to give it a try.Beautiful quaint little restaurant that served delicious food. All of us were very happy with our dishes selected.Service was really great as the lead waitress was attentive and sharp.My friends and local dishes but I was "viet-out" hence I decided on a comfort Bolognese pasta and was very much at home.The owner invited us to visit his spice gardens after which was very kind and it indeed is a beautiful garden that smells amazing.Would love to stay at a place like this had we done our research in advance instead of winging it haha.

Great location and setting. 5 stars for the service. 3 stars for the food, not because it was bad, just lacked the wow factor for me in taste. It did taste wholesome and homemade but I’ve had better Pho that didn’t have msg. The spring rolls were so so as well. Our friends who dined with us had the western food and said it was better.

Vang and another lovely girl (didn't get her name but she was beautiful!!) served us and they were so kind and helpful. I also work as a waitress so it's so great to see people actually enjoying to work in this restaurant. The drinks were delicious we had 3 different cocktails, hibiscus tea, pina colada and the cassia favourite, and a smoothie. The cassia favourite was the best and unlike anything I've ever had!! Our starter was the spicy chicken bao and that was amazing. So juicy and flavoured so well. My partner got the seafood pizza and said it was the best pizza he's ever had and it wasn't fishy at all, actually very meaty! I got the pork ribs which literally fell apart and was so tender. For dessert, he got the lava cake and he finished it in seconds!! I got the creme brûlée which is my favourite dessert to order, but this was by far the most unique and delicious creme brûlée I have ever had. Top tip: get here before sunset and enjoy a drink at their beachfront bar "Mala" with stunning views and a cool breeze before heading to the restaurant for an evening meal🌅 I cant wait to eat here again👌🏻🫶🏼

Been to the place for dinner our first night on the island. A restaurant inside a resort.The ambience and atmosphere was marvelous, by the pool and very close to the ocean.The fresh spring rolls were soft and fresh, but the sauce was a disappointment, didn't bring out the flavor of the rolls.The squid and pomelo salad was also a disappointment. 90% of the dish was pomelo in bland unflavored sauce. The squid was fresh and crunchy but was lost amongst the pomelo.The grilled prawns was not fresh at all and was also bland. The fried rice with seafood was super dry and unflavored.In the end, everything was bland and unflavored - a big disappointment for the story of spice trade they claimed first page of the menu :(We had like 4 types of different spicy sauces, 2 pots of pepper and zero olive oil for the salad.Also, the le posate came without a spoon, so we ended up eating the fried rice by the forks.Shout-out to the manager to be attentive and the good Italian Pinot grigio wine.Edit 1: giving 5 stars for the customized service and the willingness to improve. Hope it really gonna be better next time we visit.

Truly such a hidden gem. This time we got the girls name, Dam. She is so lovely and kind and we got to talk to her much more this time. Vang was great again too! Both of them deserve such high praise, honestly I've never had such great service. This time we spoke to the owners son too who was just as kind. We felt so welcomed and he even gave us a business card as we want to know more about the recipes. We tried different things this time. The chicken curry had so much flavour and depth to it and Freya usually hates vegetables in curry but they were delicious and soft. I had the Vietnamese pancake which was unlike anything we'd ever tried and the dipping sauce with it was rich and flavourful. The desserts were amazing again, Freya got the passionfruit tart which was sharp and sweet and crumbly and I got the mango and passionfruit which was super refreshing! This restaurant is truly the best we have found and we hope one day we can come back to Vietnam so we can come back and eat here. If you come to Phu Quoc, you MUST eat here. Do not miss out!! Highly recommended restaurant. Went there several times and always loved the food. Best bread and food we had during our travels in Asia. Very good service, attentive staff and very nice and friendly owner. The atmosphere is amazing especially in the evening. We will definitely come back! Many greetings from Germany.

They have an extensive menu or you can choose 1 of 2 set menus of 4 dishes that they change every evening. We did the set menu 3 times and have not been disappointed. The owners original business was in the spice trade and it shows in the meals. Very interesting flavours and a mix of eastern/western styles.Price is very reasonable considering the high quality of the meal and service.Can't recommend enough.

The Spice House is a lovely poolside restaurant that is flanked by the beach and greenery on either side.As we entered, their owner Hoàng greeted us with a smile and showed us around the property and explained its history and how their local ingredient-inspired menu incorporates spices grown in their own plantations.Their menu is one of a kind and offers a very interesting array of unique Vietnamese and Western dishes.We started with the Fried Calamari, Cobia with Lemongrass and the Chicken Breast with Mango (which was outstanding and unlike anything I've ever eaten anywhere)For main course, we had the Mekong Style Seafood which had Shrimp, Barracuda, Squid, Pineapple and Okra in a spiced tomato sauce. Phu Quoc is famous for its pepper so we had to also try the sautéed beef in Phu Quoc Pepper which was very flavorful and delicious.Overall, a beautiful dining experience in an equally lovely resort, you definitely should visit or stay in Cassia Cottage during your next trip to Phu Quoc

Fabulous meal. We met the host Hoang, who is just a delightful man and a child of the world. Hoang was full of conversation and helped educate us with Vietnam and island politics, history and local issues.This hotel, restaurant, resort is just extraordinary. It is beautiful, clean, and has an authentic style. It doesn’t try to be something it isn’t. It just is, and is fantastic.From the moment we arrived through to our departure the service was simply the best we experienced in Vietnam…. anywhere.

Very good cuisine. The khmer fish was excellent, and the cocktails as well. On the other side, the stir-fried noodles were not extremelly special. We had a unfortunate experience with the spice sauce, which came on our face as we opened it, and the staff immediately helped and was extremelly helpful. Great ambiance at neight
