Located next to Sea World, this resort offers an outdoor lagoon-style pool and bright quarters for families. With Nickelodeon characters nearby, it's the perfect stop on a day of theme park fun.
Such an amazing resort for a family holiday. Sea World was our favourite park to go to on the Gold Coast, so this was the perfect place for our family to stay. The location made it very easy to go to Sea World numerous times (great for short ride lines early in the morning) and fantastic for the Halloween Spooky Nights (absolutely amazing event, felt like we were trick or treating overseas). The Dolphin Discovery Presentation was absolutely fantastic. It was very descriptive on how well the dolphins are cared for, which was extremely important to us as we wouldn't want to support a business that didn't respect the animals. All communication with Sea World Resort Staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. The buffet dinner at Shoreline Restaurant, with live entertainment, was fantastic. We really enjoyed pizza from Melrose Italian, which we brought back to the room. Waterfall Cafe was great for afternoon drinks, food and snacks. My 7 year old loved the water park, the nightly light show and pool (varied depths). The resort is about 10 minutes drive to Surfers Paradise and under 30 minute drive to Movie World etc. Across Seaworld Drive there is a short walkway to a beach where you can see Surfers Paradise, the beach is not suitable for swimming but it is great for a walk. We can't wait to get back to Queensland and would definitely stay at Sea World Resort again. Thank you!

The hotel is really good if you get one of the deluxe rooms not the resort room. The manager was so helpful and professional and doing his best so we can enjoy our stay. The kids loved the water slides and the pool. The new year night and the fireworks was so good. We didn’t need to leave the hotel to see it in surfers paradise.

We got a amazing deal for the parks and to stay a night at the resort. The hotel is pretty the rooms are old and not sound proof at all! We heard lots of noises through the night and guest are extremely loud in the early morning. There is absolutely no where to park in the car park or on the street, we ended up looking for over half and hour and still did not get a spot. We had to park on the grass which was still a walk away from the hotel and us and many other hotel guest ended up getting a parking fine! Not to mention you will be in the line for the breakfast buffet for over an hour until you are even seated! If you are going to have so many guests at your hotel, you should have accommodate for their parking too.

Such an amazing experience in the Gold Coast and Sea World Resort made our stay so much better. With direct access to Sea World the location couldn't be faulted. The water park and the pool in the resort very good.15min bike ride with lime bikes to surfers paradise.Things for absolutely everyone to do from my 2.5 year old nefue to my 35 year old sister.Food was good. The breakfast buffet was amazing.100% recommended for a family stay.

Fantastic Stay with Stellar Service. I was beyond impressed with the level of customer service I received from Zhar. She provided us a swift check-in and check -out. She is also very attentive, accommodating, and genuinely kind. Our room on the other hand, was immaculate, thoughtfully equipped with all the comforts of home, and the light-colored decor created a serene and welcoming atmosphere. The kids loved the water park and the pool. Highly recommended for families.

My experience here was really awesome. The staff is unbelievably great! Helpful and accommodating! Nick, Jay, Sharon and Sue were really helpful. I’m very needy- so they provided some materials things I needed extra in the room.I ate at the restaurant Melrose- very busy at the time- long line too- but staff Sam and Diana helped me and updated me with my orders.Overall- my stay here was really great.

Stayed for a week and found the resort staff were awesome. Super polite and helpful (except for the Animal adventure booking lady who seemed nice when we booked but was rude and pushy when we went to register later in the day)The room we stayed in was a bit dated but clean and tidy. Breakfasts were awesome as was our night at the Japanese restaurant in the resort. We’ve been to SeaWorld quite a few times but this will probably be our last visit as we’ve seen it and not a lot changes. Great for kids and we’ve enjoyed our times there.

We booked through luxury escapes 12months ago and when we arrived to check in we didn’t have a reservation. Staff pretty much said that we were to contact luxury escapes ourselves and didn’t really help us. We ended up having to source our own accommodation and we returned to the Seaworld resort the next day, where we were going to be looked after because of it. I can’t say anyone went out of their way to look after us and we tried to speak to the manager several times but to no avail. She pretty much avoided us. We have stayed at this resort a couple of times before. But after this experience we won’t be returning and I have shared my experience with family and friends and have told them to avoid. The fact we had wasted our first afternoon /evening with unnecessary stress wasn’t a good way to start the holiday. Our room was tired and not cleaned well. The family upstairs were noisy and woke us up so early each day. The buffet breakfast was below average and I can’t believe that the chef didn’t cook fresh omelettes. The buffet food was cold and not very appealing.

Great place to stay for families. Kids everywhere. We travelled as a couple with no kids, felt a bit awkward at the start as everyone there had kids, but didn't matter in the end. Great value if wanting to go to the Worlds. We enjoyed the Dolphin Experience (only for people staying at the Resort). Great access to Sea World. Car parking can be an issue if the Resort is full. We were directed to park in the staff parking, which was great as it was closer to our room.

The resort offers a range of accommodation options including family rooms, suites, and apartments, catering to a variety of guests' needs. The rooms are well-appointed and include amenities such as air conditioning, cable TV, and mini-fridges. Some of the suites and apartments even offer stunning views of the theme park and surrounding waterways. The resort offers a wide range of activities and facilities for guests to enjoy, including a lagoon-style swimming pool, an outdoor spa, tennis courts, and a gymnasium. There are also several dining options available, including a buffet restaurant, a seafood restaurant, and a cafe.Overall, the resort has a lot to offer including a safe environment and a nice view.

We had a great stay at Sea World Resort! Lovely grounds, really relaxing. The buffet dinner is well worth doing, even if only once. The food was great and included adult drinks as well (which was of decent quality).Nice to access Sea World via the resort guest entry as well.Pool & pool bar areas are great and a nice way for adults to relax while kids play.

Lobby is mint, restaurants are ok, 2 for one drinks is awesome... Pools nice. Rooms are old but redone and hallways have a real school camp vibe to them.Wouldn't pay $300+ a night but $200 isn't bad at all

Gorgeous resort immaculately clean tidy. Staff helpful and friendly. Food menu could be better quality. Need more healthy and better quality options especially for adults. A communal microwave area would be good for reheating food as none in rooms. Excellent easy parking. Theme park is amazing kids loved it. Will be back in near future.

It was great staying here. The rooms were nice and clean, entry to Sea World park available from the resort.Lots of options for dining.Buffet was good and clean. We had so much fun at the water playground and splash park, at night they had a small light show with Sponge Bob music, which kids loved.

It’s not 5 star but it’s pretty good for what it is. We stayed in a premium queen and although dated was very comfortable. Rooms are serviced daily (to our surprise) woman who cleaned 1003 was absolutely pleasant. Staff were friendly, if you go the breakfast each morning that’s brilliant, so much to choose from. Grounds are beautiful and amazingly kept. Pool is beautiful, waterpark is a hit, 2 added things would be more spas and way way more shade because the sun is ridiculously searing hot. The deal we got included the theme park tickets which was amazing. Daily character visits & dolphin presentations included In your stay. 1 definite recommendation would be to have some different washing detergents available for sale because the ones available aren’t great.Oh and not an overly huge amount of car spaces available. Otherwise so happy.

The rooms are quite old (well the ones we stayed in). But in all honesty, that didn't matter as we were barely there. We made the most of the unlimited entry into the theme parks with our holiday package. It is so brilliant having Seaworld next door. Being able to enter the park through the resort is brilliant. We went back most days (the kids did) to ride the rides! The pool is huge and the food and beverages are fabulous. We often chose to eat at the resort rather than venturing out.We will absolutely be back. Very affordable and the service was fantastic.

The lady that checked us in really needs to be commended. Nothing felt like it was an issue. We have been to this resort now 8 times and once again walking into the resort and being checked in by her felt like we were welcome again. Nothing felt like an issue and she was more than happy to answer all questions we had. Thanks again Jordan you made our holiday off to a great start.

My wife and I took the kids to Sea World this past week. We had a blast. The resort itself was super comfortable, the staff always attentive and helpful and we honestly have no complaints.Whilst the resort is quite old in age, the rooms held up fine, were clean, and we had no concerns. The pool and surrounds were great, and the restaurants on site were all excellent. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

The resort was incredible. The service and staff members were lovely. Except housekeeping issues on our last day, we didn't have a problem. The views were just great, I would go down the lobby to wind down after an exhausting day. We had a lovely time. Would definitely come back to explore more, we wanted to go whale watching, but they said it starts late May.

We had an amazing 3-night stay at Sea World Resort. 2 adults and 3 children on 2 Queen beds and a comfortable fold out. Worked perfectly for us and we felt there was still ample space in the room for our luggage. The breakfast offered lots of variety and our children loved it (we paid $109 each morning for 5 of us) We had one issue with housekeeping but Sea World went above and beyond to rectify the mistake and for this we are very appreciative. As a child, my family stayed here annually, and I wanted my own children to experience the magic of Sea World Resort. Thank you for a wonderful experience :)

Good location. Good service. Comfy beds. Clean rooms and common areas. Our only issue was the sound proofing. We could hear the guests upstairs. They weren't noisy, but we could definitely hear the walking and running around, closing of drawers, flushing of toilet, etc .....The view was awful from our balcony, barbwire fence and service areas. It was tidy, but still, not the "park view" we were told we'd have.Otherwise, great location and good service from staff.Prepare to look for street parking if you park after 8pm. The parking lot gets full early! We'd stay here again, but perhaps stay at a different wing to get a better view.

Stayed here with my partner and cousin, and overall, we had a great experience. The location is incredibly convenient and absolutely stunning. While we were unable to get an early check-in, we still felt very well looked after, and the room was perfect with a breathtaking view—no complaints there at all!Even though we don’t have a big family or kids, we could see the value in how family-friendly the resort is, making it an excellent option for those traveling with children. The staff were fantastic, especially at the bar, where they catered to our needs with great coffee and friendly service. The only minor downside was that some of the amenities, like the hand lotion and body soap in the bathroom, were close to empty. Other than that, everything was fine, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hope to be back soon!

This is a family hotel, so if you know what that really means, and, you are bringing the family, then you will have a great time.Easy access to Sea World Park which is great for the family and it's also not too far from Surfers or the other fun parks. The food and service is decent enough and reasonably priced. We had a great time with 2 adults and 2 kids - 13 & 3.

My family and I, had a great experience at SeaWorld Resort. The room are clean and spacious, beds are comfy. We had the buffet for dinner, delicious various foods to be had. We went out for the whole day and came back to freshly made beds and clean linens. I was surprised as I didn't know they did that. But it was nice. Would definitely recommend family, couples, friends to try the resort. You won't be disappointed! Customer service is 10/10!

Very busy resort but great for families, great food options. Breakfast is always hectic, they should look at spreading it out more so more space for people to move around, pancake stand always busy and machines always requiring attention maybe add a few more? The rides look good but queues for rides take a while and 30% of the rides aren't working currently. However the dolphin show was excellent and the stingrays section was good too.

We stayed in one of the renovated family rooms, which was meant to have breakfast included and entry to the theme parks. It's a great deal, however the restaurant didn't have our rooms marked as having breakfast included and the quality and cleanliness of the rooms was sub par, considering they have recently been renovated. The wall paper was peeling off, bathrooms were mouldy and rusty. Service was excellent in all departments, even though the poor staff had to deal with an overbooked hotel and everyone showing up to eat at the same time. Pool area is great, very well suited for families.

Loved our first stay at this resort. We received a room upgrade which exceeded our expectations. The room was so comfortable, quiet, with great concierge service. As someone with mobility issues I'd love the monorail to return, or some kind of buggy/train transport through the park as it's a long way to walk. The buffet breakfast line up was huge, but thankfully it moved quickly. Staff were so lovely & helpful. We will definitely return to stay again.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service provided by your cafeteria staff during my current stay at your resort.Upon check-in for the Easter holidays, my family and I encountered a very unpleasant experience at the cafeteria beside the pool. Despite the pleasant interactions with the concierge and reception teams, the behavior of the young boy named **** at the water fall cafeteria left much to be desired. They rudely enforced the Queensland rules for Good Friday, limiting the serving of liquor to one drink per adult for an hour with one main meal. While I understand and respect the rules, the way in which it was communicated was extremely disrespectful and hurtful. When I requested two drinks, one for myself and one for my wife, the staff member’s response was abrasive and dismissive. Despite my honest conversation that the drinks were for my wife and myself, and that we would be sharing pizza and fries with our kids before having dinner, the staff member insisted on the one-drink rule per meal, going as far as threatening to take away our drinks if my wife was seen drinking hers. This experience made us feel unwelcome and intimidated. We felt as though we were being watched and judged, rather than being treated as valued guests. The staff member’s lack of professionalism and empathy tarnished what was supposed to be a relaxing evening for my family and me.As a tourist, I believe that the way your staff communicate and enforce rules can greatly impact the overall guest experience. I hope that you can address this issue with your cafeteria staff to ensure that future guests are treated with respect and understanding.I look forward to your response and to hearing how you plan to address this matter. We are still here for next 3 days with family.

Pros: We have a great experience. We were upgraded which was fantastic. We recieved a 3 day theme park entry which is amazing savings. The location in right next to sea world with easy access to the park. The breakfast was not bad with good service.Cons: no microwave in room (only can hire one). The pool was freezing cold. The splash castle was out of service. The "light show" had my 5 year old saying "is that it??" Ten seconds into the show.I still recommend it for the overall service and savings for theme parks.

Over all I had a pretty good experience, I did however feel there wasn’t much in the way of communication when I asked about the resort itself, I had to ask several different staff members. When I booked I asked if the sauna was included, I was told it was, when I got here I was told the sauna doesn’t exist anymore. I was given a small milk, I asked for another for the next day and I never received it, I need coffee in the morning! I had a buffet breakfast and the staff were hands down my absolute favourite! So lovely and attentive! I had a massage which was to die for! Both nights Ihave to say the food was less than great, lovely staff though. I would have loved a bin for my day to day rubbish, not just the one in the bathroom. All facilities were so clean and taken care of. Thank you for a lovely experience

We enjoyed a 5 night stay with theme parks included. When we had an initial minor issue with our room, Bella at reception resolved the issue immediately and incredibly had us upgraded to a gorgeous room with bay views. The room was fabulous, way above our expectations and we had a wonderful stay. The amenities and pool area were excellent, walking through to Sea World from the resort was so convenient. As it was off peak, some rides at all parks were under maintenance but that didn’t stop us having a blast at all the theme parks and the ride queues were short. We enjoyed Sea World the most as there was more on offer there and the presentations excellent. We broke up the theme parks with a day walking in the hinterland rainforests, and enjoying the spectacular views at the St Bernard’s Hotel. It was the best family holiday with very special thanks to Bella, at the Sea World Resort, who went above and beyond during our stay, an absolute gem.

Outstanding service from reception and throughout the resort. Rooms are a little dated but perfectly adequate. Location is great with a vehicle. Probably the best stay we have had in Goldy. Great location and service - best for families. The walls are paper thin though so you get to know the neighbours…really well. When they shower, go to the toilet or anything else, you hear it all. Rooms are showing their age, but willing to put up with it for the location and convenience.

Hotel amazing, clean and great amenities. I have never stayed at a hotel with the nicest staff, super friendly, professional and very helpful. They all went beyond their job to make you enjoy your holiday. Only negative is the guest. As it is a family friendly place a lot of families with kids. So many kids out of control and parents letting them. Was not able to sleep beyond 7am as kids were outside the room yelling. Parents need to control their kids more and be mindful of other guests.

Great time at Sea World Resort. Great for our family of three with plenty to do at the resort and close by (within 5 min drive). Would highly recommend if you’ve got kids 3-10 as there’s so much on. Plenty of food options - if you’re not doing the buffet breaky, I’d say bring some cereal and milk into your rooms, or head out to cafes, as breakfast options were limited, but throughout the day there was an abundance of food options. Can’t wait to come here again

My family was selected as 'guest of the day' and it made our first trip to Sea World Resort very special. The weather was horrible with drizzles and heavy rain over the weekend, however, Sea World was still a magical place. The lobby was busy but the team was very professional with minimal wait time to check in or check out. The vibe and interior design of the lobby is welcoming, fancy and modern. The Sea World resort staff was professional, friendly and kind.I cannot thank the Sea World management and staff enough for their efforts in making miserable rainy days to still be a wonderful stay. The Sea World Theme Park was easily accessible and the under cover area were sufficient to ensure we were not completely drenched from rain. Also big bonus with the buffet breakfast. Our family was pleasantly surprised by the selection offered. The food was 5 star for presentation and taste. I highly recommend the Shoreline restaurant buffet breakfast.

Very family-friendly hotel. Great dinner options at the cafe, take away pizza or grill (some nights) to eat poolside and watch the sunset. The kitchen in the rooms has a small fridge, sink/washing area, microwave, kettle and plates/cutlery for a family of 4. It says no toasters are permitted to be brought in. Dora’s disco and squidwards light show were hits with our 7 and 8 YO.

The staff at Sea World resort are amazing. Reception, hospitality, the cleaners all fantastic. The resort is kid friendly and excellent with evening events for the kids. Our room however, looked out into the loading bay and we were woken up at 5am every morning, to trucks beeping and continuous noise. We weren’t very happy with that at all.

The resort is terrible The service is below average. I would definitely not waste my time or money returning. Over Half an hour to line up for breakfast with a 4 year old is way to long to get put on a dirty table. Peter in the breakfast area is very rude and arrogant Also in addition to our stay hardly any rides operating. Very disappointed my family and friends will never stay here again. The only decent thing about our stay was Ashleigh the duty manager but unfortunately one person cannot control the other incompetent staff like Peter in the breakfast buffet area just rude and arrogant.

Last weekend of school holidays is extremely busy. Would hate to think what it would be like in a summer school holiday as it was busy enough as it was lots of families Pool pretty nice not sure how they can have some rooms. It’s so very little parking. Had to park halfway down the road between the resort and sea world. Only value in it is getting the three day pass all the theme parks.

We have visited this place so many times over the last 17 years. The first time was when our son was just 6 months old and we have been every couple of years since. We love the location, parking and the relaxed family atmosphere of the resort. We have seen many changes over the years and have never been disappointed. My son loves showing our daughter all over the resort and the theme parks that are included in the package. The rooms are a little outdated, but more than sufficient for the family to sleep in. Super comfy beds to stretch out on after a full day exploring all there is to discover. Pool super close to rooms, beach across the road, on the beautiful Surfers Paradise Spit… what more could you ask for! I highly recommend the Japanese restaurant on site! We will definitely be back! So many memories! And a special shout out to Peter from the Shoreline Restaurant. He has been there every year we have visited and his humour and welcoming yarns are something that the family truly appreciates!

We had a very nice stay this year at Sea World resort. The best part was to have our room with the direct access to the kids water park and pool. Breakfast buffet and evening dinners were delicious and fresh. We have tried all restaurants and the experience was great. Staff members were very polite and helpful.I would suggest those improvements for this hotel in the future:-Lettuce and vegetables for buffet breakfast (currently there are only fruits available)-Morning yoga or exercise activities like Zumba around 8 AM, especially for the rainy weather because there is nothing to do before the parks open when the weather is bad.-the park used to have a special dolphin show for those, who stayed in the hotel in the past but that's no longer the case. We really loved them in the past and watched the shows every day. If dolphins are no longer a possibility maybe to organise something else before 10 AM?

We stayed at the resort as a family and rate it a 10/10. It had restaurants within the resort with an array of cuisine, our room had been refurbished and it was beautifully furnished and very clean. The pool area was a real vibe and I can confirm, our son absolutely loved it and raved about it to his friends when we got home. The access to Sea World was very convenient. I always thought it was overpriced but to be honest, it is well worth the value and next time we stay, we will upgrade to get a room with a view. The only downside is there is no under cover parking but that doesn't deter us from staying again. We truly loved staying at Sea World Resort and look forward to returning again soon.

Hotel is nice. Food is mediocre. Hotel staff is good. Amusement parks are subpar. I’m writing this review at 10:40 am waiting in line for the ride to open. Still not open 40 minutes after park has opened. This is consistent across the park. Some attractions took over an hour yesterday to open if they opened at all. Park staff at sea world are friendly. Staff at wet and wild not as much. Oh well. You get what you pay for. This for sure isn’t Disney.

Good things first - the staff were helpful and responsive, the breakfast buffet is absolute busy chaos with all the guests but the staff were always calm and collected, on top of refilling everything, seating people quickly, and happy to help. It’s also super convenient for visiting Sea World which was nice with a young family!Bad things - it’s just super dated, our room looked like a landlord special with rust on the ceilings, stains all over the carpet, lights that were hardly working, small shower, bad paint jobs and patching on the walls, dirty beds, it just felt dirty and run down. Some of the food was great (steak, kids grilled chicken) and some of it was absolutely foul (hot dog at the boat shed and gnocchi from melrose) We were really bummed we paid so much to stay here and unfortunately just would never go back. The pool was closed while we were there and the team graciously refunded us part of our stay so we could move elsewhere, which I'm grateful for. It feels more like a school camp than a resort holiday - I appreciate for some that might be fine, for us it just didn’t feel relaxing or comfortable.

This was our first time staying at Seaworld Resort and it will definitely have been our last.We form the Shoreline Restaurant was closed most nights and we never got chance to eat dinner there. We ordered pizzas from the pizza restaurant one night and it took 1hour to come out!The alternative bar section provided a limited menu and whilst the food was fair, it wasn’t anything spectacular for the price. We found most staff to be less than friendly, either not acknowledging us as we passed them or it was appeared to be a very forced smile. The breakfast staff really were only interested in pushing past to get to where they were going.Parking was an absolute sh*t fight and clearly there is not enough infrastructure to deal with the resort working at full capacity.Rooms were served everyday but I should expect that for what you pay.We notice a red label on the floor near the fridge when we arrived which we used as a test to see if house keeping saw it m, but it remained there for the entirety of our 7 day stay.We understand that we live in a “self-serve society” but we found the service we did experience to be slow and not in line with the exorbitant prices for rooms, food and drinks.

Firstly, when you are paying $299 per night for 2A and 2C which includes buffet breakfast and theme park entry, you can't have much to complain about! We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very friendly. Buffet breakfast had a good variety of yummy food. Location is very convenient, sea world literally next door and movie world only 30 minutes away.Rooms were spacious and comfortable, the only negative would be the extremely hard pillows and soft mattress. Easily remedied by taking our own pillows next time. Would highly recommend a stay here if you're visiting sea world.

We have stayed here in 2023 and now in 2024 with two young kids. The kids have a ball and we as adults enjoy everything that Sea World Resort offers in terms of a nice, enjoyable, fun loving holiday. To top it off the food at the resort was so delicious with a menu sure to please all ages. Also worth mentioning that Sam and the crew at the food and beverage area are doing a magnificent job making sure the patrons staying at the resort are well looked after when it comes to the all important food and cool down drink's time. Already looking forward to our next holiday at Sea World Resort. Can't wait!

We love SeaWorld resort so much! The kids have so much fun and we love making memories with them. The pool, splash pads and water park was great fun although the weather affected our use we still had an amazing time. We loved the food and trying the different restaurants, we loved exploring sea world and coming back for a rest and going on our way again. The only part of stay is we wish we got to go to the Dora dance party as our kids would’ve loved it! But we can’t fault this resort and love it so much.
